PageKeeper Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PageKeeper ("the App", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
PageKeeper protects merchants against broken product links. When a product is deleted, archived, or set to draft, the App creates a redirect and serves a branded "rescue" page in place of a 404, and lets you restore deleted products from saved snapshots.
2. Eligibility and account
You must have an active Shopify store and authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs through your store.
3. Merchant responsibilities
- Grant the App the permissions it needs to operate.
- Ensure your use of the App complies with Shopify's terms and applicable law.
- Review the rescue pages and redirect behavior to confirm they suit your store.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it to violate any law or third-party rights.
5. Availability
We work to keep the App available and reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Protection and rescue pages depend on the App being installed, on Shopify's webhooks and APIs, and on third-party infrastructure, which may experience downtime outside our control.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon uninstall, related data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
